6 decades of personal athletics experience competing from Little Athletics to Seniors & Masters and at National & International level.
Represented Australia in the 110m hurdles and 4x100m relay, at the British south of England championships in 1994. Retiring from full time senior competition in 2004 with three national open senior medals including one silver, two bronze, and raced in seven national finals (in total) in the 110m hurdles. Former state record holder in the 110m hurdles and a member of the 4x100m team that holds the current WA state (and Australian Club Best) record of 39.51 seconds (in 1995). He competed for two years in B.A.A.A. competition for English Club Bedfordshire (1994 & 1995) where he still holds the 110mh open record and trained for the Decathlon. Over twenty years of coaching experience, including a position as a Coach/Mentor (1996-2002) with Dr Garry Tester (Sports Challenge Inc: self-esteem 'at risk' improvement programs in schools and various correction and rehabilitation institutions across Australia & Asia).
